MMS scandal: Girl forces friend to strip, attacked brutally

Chandigarh, Oct 18: The MMS scandal, which showed four girls forcing their friends to strip, came into public eye once again when one of the accused was brutally attacked by some youths.

The incident took place at Panchkula near Chandigarh in Punjab. According to sources, the accused girl was attacked in the broad daylight when she visited a shop in the market to recharge her mobile phone.

Media reports quoted one of the relatives of the girl as stating, "As the girl recharged her mobile, two motorcycle-borne youths stopped her and attacked her face with a sharp weapon."

"The two boys fled the spot after the girl raised an alarm. She received injuries on her face and was shifted to PGI," the person continued while informing about the girl's health condition.

According to reports, the accused girl received injury on her cheek and is being treated in the plastic surgery wing of the emergency department.

The girl along with three other friends allegedly forced a girl to go nude and made an MMS which they circulated among all contact numbers which were stored in the victim's mobile phone.

All girls reportedly were frequent visitors of a discotheque. The four accused girls, who are pursuing BA course and living as paying guests, attacked the victim outside the same disco.
