Chandigarh: Friends force girl to strip, MMS circulated

Media reports said that the victim retracted from her decision to file an official police complaint after being scared that she would become infamous.
All girls reportedly were frequent visitors of a discotheque. The four accused girls, who are pursuing BA course and living as paying guests, attacked the victim outside the same disco.
The victim was allegedly beaten up by the four girls in a car and after making the MMS of her stripping, she (the victim) was thrown out of the vehicle.
Police officials earlier had been quoted as saying, "So far, I have not received any information about the MMS. If a girl has been abused in such a way and her MMS has been shot, I assure that as soon as the girl lodges complaint with the police, first information report (FIR) will be filed and the accused four girls will be arrested. Cases of sexual abuse, theft and IT act will be lodged against them."
