2G: CBI to take up case against Chidambaram?

He also said that the involvement of Home Minister in the case was a disgrace further adding that he resign from his post.
Chidambaram's name surfaced in the 2G scam after a secret note, which was exchanged between the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee, came out which mentioned Pranab talking about the pricing of 2G spectrum broadly revealing that Chidambaram could have insisted for an auction of the 2G licenses when A Raja was the Telecom Minister.
The note was submitted to the Supreme Court by Subramanian Swamy, Janata Party leader during a hearing of his petition. Reports also suggest that the document was seen by Pranab Mukherjee.
Meanwhile, Pranad Mukherjee refused to comment over the entire 2G row saying that it was a matter of "sub-judice".
"The matter is subjudice. I cannot make any comment on it. The whole matter is under the scrutiny of the Supreme Court of India. We cannot make any comment on any matter that is subjudice," Mukherjee had said.
