Team Anna gangs up at Ralegan Siddhi to step up pressure

Ralegan Siddhi, Sept 10: With anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare and team all set to take their anti-graft agitation to the next level, they all are meeting at Anna's village in Ralegan Siddhi to plan the next course of action with regards to the fate of the Jan Lokpal Bill.

With all major names in the Anna Hazare camp congregating in the village, they were greeted with a rousing welcome and even Ganesh puja was performed. Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi also took part in the festive fervour. They will gather for two days to strategise on the smooth passage of the Jan Lokpal Bill.

It is also believed that they will discuss their next agenda for agitation, that is the electoral reforms. They will discuss at length the contentious topic of right to recall. This is the first such get-together by Team Anna after Anna Hazare called off his fast rather dramatically at the Ramlila Grounds.

Key civil society member Arvind Kejriwal commented, "We are meeting to analyse the movement. We will also discuss the course of action to adopt over the Lokpal Bill." With the team determined to maintain pressure to bring an effective Lokpal Bill in motion, the meeting comes at a right time.
