Delhi blast: Funds for treating injured would be given by govt

The direction from Singh came after an assessment carried out by his Principal Secretary T K A Nair following complaints from some patients that the treatment was not adequate.
In the wake of such complaints, the Prime Minister had deputed Nair to carry out the assessment, PMO sources said.
Nair presented his assessment to the Prime Minister, they said. The death toll in Monday's blast outside the Delhi High Court today rose to 12 with one of the victims succumbing to injuries at a hospital here.
A high intensity briefcase bomb ripped through the crowded reception area in the Delhi High Court on Monday. 75 people were injured in the blast.
