Anna and other crucial members of Team Anna - Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi, Manish Sisodia, Shanti Bhushan and many others have been taken under preventive custody, reports were popped up that the government banned bulk SMS. However, no official reports confirmed the news.

The official Twitter account of IAC - JanLokpal also posted tweet, "Dear friends, we are not able to send bulk SMS, help us by sending sms about events, updates, alerts to at least 10 friends #Anna #Tihar."

However, Abhijit Saxena, the CEO of NetCore said to CIOL, "there is no instruction from the regulator to block the bulk SMS, and NetCore is just a platform to send bulk SMS."

Mr Saxena also informed that the company on Tuesday has not sent any SMS for the group (IAC) as they (the company) have not received any instruction from IAC to send the SMS.

"We would decide upon it when asked by India Against Corruption," stated Saxena when he was asked about NetCore's future planning over SMS regarding Anna and Lokpal Bill.

Earlier, Anna Hazare led India Against Corruption (IAC) had requested the public to give a missed call to all those who support his cause to register their support. This was when Hazare was on his huger strike at the Jantar Mantar on Apr 5.
