Pak: Female suicide bomber hits police station, kills dozens
According to reports, the woman who is said to be 25-years-old was wearing an explosive-laden vest and blew herself up in the heart of the north-western city of Peshawar. "She exploded the vest as she came close to the checkpost. One policeman was wounded," police official Tariq Omar said.
A 60-year-old woman was also killed in the bombing. It is now being probed whether she was also a suicide attacker or just a passerby.
"The other woman is more than 60 years old. Her face is completely disfigured and beyond identification. Her body has no sign of wearing a suicide vest. We feel that she was just a passer-by," Doctor Rahim Afridi said.
