Dance Jalwa: Father snubs child's death, rocks in JK concert

Srinagar, Aug 11: People will be shocked and surprised with the news that a father rocked in a dance concert just an hour after his newly born's death. Sunil Sharma, a choreographer by profession, bewildered many with his decision to attend a dance function to celebrate 16th anniversary of his institute.

On Sunday, Aug 7, doctors suggested Shamra's wife to go for an emergency operation as her baby had died in the womb. After her surgery, Sharma headed towards the venue at Abhinav theater in Jammu.

Afterwards, Sharma stated, "I told my wife about the show and she gave me a go ahead despite being in mourning. I could not have left my students in an embarrassing situation by remaining absent. And when the death of my child was announced everybody broke down."

Concluding his statement with Raj Kapoor's popular dialogue, Sharma stated, "We presented 16 items to the audience and show went up to 8.30pm," and also added, "And everyone was appreciating the commitment. I could not express my feelings I had when I was conducting the show. But I controlled my emotions because the show must go on."
