40 million in India afflicted with Hepatitis: study

In an initial situational analysis conducted in India, the study said that the Hepatitis C virus was 100 times more infectious than HIV virus.
Gastro-enterologist with Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals Mahesh Goenka said that Hepatitis B virus is blood borne and more deadly than HIV.
He said that hospital had started to work on the campaign to spread awareness about the deadly virus among people in West Bengal.
