Google+ iPhone app tops list of 'Top Free Apps' in iTunes

New York, Jul 21: Within a day after its launch, the Google Plus app for iPhone has become the No.1 'Top Free Apps' in iTunes marketplace.

The much awaited Google Plus app for iPhones hit the iTunes market on Wednesday, Jul 20. Soon after the announcement of Google Plus social networking site, Google said that they had submitted the app for Apple's approval. But, it took almost two week to roll out the app to the market.

Google+ for mobile makes sharing the right things with the right people a lot simpler. Huddle lets you send super-fast messages to the people you care about most. And no matter where you are, the stream lets you stay in the loop about what your friends are sharing and where they"re checking in.

Google+ iPhone app works with any iPhone 3G, 3GS or 4 running iOS 3.1 or newer versions. But this new app does not support the iPad or iPod Touch.

The iPhone app of Google Plus has more than 1,600 user reviews and it is awarded with a five-star rating.
