Nashik, July 19: Daily passengers of Manmad-Mumbai Panchavati Express stopped the train for two hours at Nashik Road railway station to protest against the late clearance of that train by rail authorities to clear the passage of a Duronto Express.

The Manmad-Mumbai Panchavati Express, generally arrives at Nashik Road at 7.03 am and reaches Mumbai CST at 11.20 am. The train is convenient for office-goers as well as businessman.

However, today (Jul 19), the enraged passengers staged a ''rail-roko'' by halting the Panchavati Express for two hours to protest against the delay in clearing their train. The protests also delayed other trains traveling via Nashik.

It was when the office-bearers of Rail Parishad and held talks with the passengers that they gave up the agitation.
