Chennai: Prostitution racket busted in rave party

Seven persons, including six Nepal citizens have been arrested near Sriperumbudur in Chennai on Wednesday, Jul 6. Surprisingly, women - mainly from north-east region of the country, especially from Nagaland and Assam. Polic suspected that the women were brought at the place in connection with some prostitution racket.
Police, after receiving information from some secret sources, raided a particular house in Sriperumbudur and caught youths. Some Koreans, who were detained but released shortly.
Police officials informed, "We found at least 20 scantily clad people dancing to loud music. Most of them were from north-eastern states and a few were from Korea."
Recently, rave parties in Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh have revealed many shocking images and sites of Indian youths. With the Mumbai rave party busting the clandestine relationship between the rich and the famous with that of drugs and alcohol, the trend is disturbing and the affinity of youngsters to attend such a party that reveals a crass show of moral degradation and money power is highlighted.
