Lokpal: BJP numb so far, now Sonia's turn to listen to Anna

New Delhi, Jul 2: He met almost all significant opposition leaders, including BJP's LK Advani, Rajnath Singh, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar and many others. Now he will meet Congress president over the Lokpal bill controversy. Yes, Anna Hazare has scheduled to meet Sonia Gandhi on Saturday (today), Jul 2 at 4 pm.

During his meeting with the BJP leaders, Anna Hazare did not receive any profound support from the party as BJP leaders have not cleared their stand yet on the issue of inclusion of the Prime Minister and other higher judiciary and entire bureaucracy under Lokpal's ambit.

BJP party sources informed that the NDA leaders will hold a core-party meeting on Saturday and clarify their stand on the much discussed Lokpal controversy.

Hazare's meeting with Sonia Gandhi has caught all attention as the meeting can leave an everlasting impact on the all party meeting called by the UPA government on Sunday, Jul 3.

The Lokpal spat started when the joint committee to draft the anti-corruption bill was divided over certain issues, especially inclusion of the PM under its (Lokpal's) ambit.
