2G: Joshi's PAC report blocked by Cong; not tabled

New Delhi, Jun 28: Members from the UPA coalition has obstructed Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Chairman Murli Manohar Joshi from

on the 2G spectrum scam. The controversial report had grabbed headlines earlier after it was

reasoning the report was made without due consultation with members within the PAC.

The PAC session was expected to be stormy after there were clear indications that the Congress supporters within the committee will most likely object to the report.

The PAC committee members were always at loggerheads with party lines playing a vital role and impacting the decision. Congress members had claimed that they will oppose the new PAC report since there was already a JPC to look in to the 2G spectrum scam and its irregularities.
