Rave party exposes dark underbelly of Mumbai-'high'
Senior police official, after the raid at the party, informed, "A total of 307 youngsters were detained at the party. Later, 302 of them were allowed to go after the mandatory medical test. These include 63 girls." Sources also claimed that actor Vinod Khanna's son Sakshi Khanna was present at the party, though official confirmation is yet to come.
Detailing on the findings at the rave party, the official revealed that shocking amount of drugs were found in the youngsters' night party. Police seized huge amount of drugs which included 450 milligram (mg) of cocaine, 2.5 kg of ganja and more than 300 millilitre (ml) of what is well-known as 'liquid drops'. Liquid drops is an expensive narcotic substance consumed by mixing it in sugar cubes.
However, sources also claimed that the cop, who was detained at the party, was on his undercover assignment. Though many claimed that the detained inspector Anil Jadhav, who is working with Mumbai Police's Anti-Narcotics Cell, "should have notified the Raigad police, or at least his superiors at the anti-narcotics cell, if he was carrying out an undercover operation."
Most of the people at the party, as the police informed, were under the influence of drugs. The raid on the rave party, which was conducted on the anti-narcotics day, clarified the real situation and condition of the youth in the country.
