Lulz Sec, Anonymous unite to hack govt, bank secret data

New York, Jun 22: The cyber criminal group famous for its attacks on various government and corporate websites, Lulz Security, has teamed up hacker activist group Anonymous to cause more damages around the globe.

Lulz Security, which is allegedly behind the cyber attack on CIA website, SonyPictures, US Senate website, video game company Bethesda Softworks and many more, threatened to attack more government and bank websites. The hacker group aims to steal confidential information from these sites.

"Government hacking is taking place right now, behind the scenes," LulzSec posted this message on its Twitter account, which has more than 240,000 followers.

Earlier, Lulz Sec attacked PayPal, Facebook and other social networking accounts and posted these personal details online. Using these confidential information's, other hackers attacked many PayPal accounts and Facebook pages, causing money loss to many.

Mean while, British police on Tuesday, Jun 21 arrested a 19-year-old man connected to attacks on Sony. The arrest came few days after the Spanish police arrested three other hackers in connection with attack on Sony services.
