Crack widened in BJP, vice prez Munde to join Congress?

Gopinath Munde
New Delhi, Jun 20: Internal war in the main opposition party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been widened as vice president Gopinath Munde on Monday, Jun 20 hinted that he may join their arch-rival Congress.

The crack was first noticed when Munde, BJP's deputy leader in Lok Sabha, raised his voice against party president Nitin Gadkari's decision to appoint Vikas Mathkari as Pune president after snubbing Munde's loyalist Yogesh Gogawale.

BJP recently has held several internal meetings to fix fuss. But now, it seems that Munde's meeting in New Delhi with Gadkari and senior party leader LK Advani failed to break the deadlock.

Earlier, Munde had stated, "Today I met party president Nitin Gadkari, L K Advani and the others. I told them about all my thoughts. The talks were held and are continuing in a positive direction. This is all I have to say."
