Jayalalithaa
New Delhi, Jun 14: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa finally made her much awaited meeting with the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the national capital on Tuesday, Jun 14.

After her meeting with the PM, the AIADMK chief stated, "Dayanidhi Maran should resign from the union cabinet. PM should ask Maran to quit from the post of Union Textile Minister."

Citing the Tamil Nadu CM's demands, many started speculating whether Jayalalithaa will join the UPA government if Maran, indeed, will table his resignation over the 2G spectrum scam allegations. Rumours were already brewing that both Congress and AIADMK kept an eye on the upcoming 2014 Lok Sabha election.

Showing her interest to join UPA, Jayalalithaa claimed, "Ready to give support but if anyone wants my support, they should ask me." However, Jayalalithaa, during press conference after her meeting with PM, also claimed that UPA government has not approached to her party so far.

Pointing at UPA-DMK tie, the Tamil Nadu CM said that she did not call Sonia Gandhi as Gandhi is the president of Congress.

Dismissing all allegations against her, the AIADMK supremo said, "None of the cases against DMK have been initiated by me."

"Tamil Nadu, during my tenure was a power surplus, but things have been changed during DMK's tenure," said Jayalalithaa while hurling her final attack on Karunanidhi and his party.
