Al Qaeda deputy praises Osama, vows revenge on US

Dubai, Jun 9: Paying a 28-minute tribute on video to terror head Osama Bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahri, his deputy forewarned America that it faces threat not only from terror groups but from Muslims all over the world.

"Today, praise God, America is not facing an individual, a group or a faction," said Zawahri, who was dressed in a white turban and robe with rifles behind him."It is facing a nation than is in revolt, having risen from its lethargy to a renaissance of jihad."

Ayman al-Zawahri, who is known to be the operational head of al Qeda also participated in the uprisings that happened in the Arab countries.

"He went to his God as a martyr, the man who terrified American while alive and terrifies it in death, so much so that they trembled at the idea of his having tomb" he said.

He further said that sacrifices would be made to "deprive America of security."

"The man who terrified America in his life will continue to terrify it after his death," reported the SITE Intelligence Group as the video was posted on varies militant websites.

"You will continue to be troubled by his famous vow: You shall not dream of security until we enjoy it and until you depart the Muslims'' lands," said the Egyptian-born Al-Zawahri.

Zawahri criticised the US for depositing the body of Bin Laden at sea and showered praise on Laden, who was killed by the US Navy SEALs on May 2 in Abbottabad. He further asked the people of Pakistan to rise against the one who ruled them calling them "traitors".
