Nokia X7 coming to India in June: Specs, Review & Price

Mumbai, May 19: The game has not yet finished, but it gets a new start! With the surging Android Mania in market, India's most trusted brand Nokia is set to bring another legend, X7 to Indian market.

Unofficial reports claimed that the Finnish phone maker Nokia is set to launch the recently announced Nokia X7 smartphone in Indian market. The launch of Nokia X7 will give a new dimension to market, which has been witnessing a boom in smartphone sales. It's obvious that the 'Damn Entertainment Phone' X7 will create waves in India.

The world's largest mobile phone manufacturer, Nokia branded the all new Nokia X7 as an entertainment smartphone. With its unique durable design and seamless stainless steel body, Nokia X7 will stand out from the crowd. It has a 4-inch capacitive AMOLED display with a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels.

Nokia X7 runs on Nokia's new brand operating system dubbed as Symbian Anna. It comes with a new browser that is three times faster than previous browser, improved text input, new user interface for fluid gesture movement, new icons and the latest version of Ovi Maps.

This new Nokia smatphone boasts an 8-megapixel full focus camera with a dual LED flash at rear. This camera is also equipped to capture 720p video recording. Nokia X7 has an internal memory of 350 MB and offers an 8 GB micro SD card along with it. Also, users can extend the memory capacity up to 32 GB to store more videos, images and songs.

Nokia X7 comes with free walk-and-drive navigation through the latest Ovi Maps. There"s messaging through Nokia Email and you can connect to Facebook, Twitter and RenRen (in China) using Nokia Social. It comes with Galaxy on Fire HD and Asphalt 5 HD pre-installed. And there are thousands of great games and apps on Ovi Store.

The device measures 119.7 x 62.8 x 11.9mm (thinner at the edges) and weighs 146g. The connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio connector etc.

Nokia X7 Price & Availability
Nokia has not yet officially announced the exact price and release date in India. While unveiling this smartphone along with Nokia E6, Nokia said that X7 will be available in Q2 2011 with a price tag of €380, which exactly cost around Rs 25,000. We can expect Nokia X7 in Indian stores by June 2011 with a price tag around Rs 26,000. Stay tuned for more updates.
