Nokia E6 heads to Europe; Soon in India - Review & Price

Madrid, May 16: Here is the good news for the damn Symbian fans in Europe. According to various sources, Nokia's recently announced smartphones, Nokia E6 and Nokia X7 heading to Europe this month. These two smartphones are available for pre-orders in Germany and Portugal.

After a series of leaks and rumors, the Finnish phone maker Nokia unveiled E6 and X7 in Apr 2011. Both the two stylish phones run on Nokia's brand new operating system dubbed as Symbian Anna. It comes with a faster browser, improved text input, fresh, new icons and the latest version of Ovi Maps.

Nokia E6 is a compact QWERTY and touch device aimed at business and general users who need to get things done while they"re on the move. The new 'Touch & Type' feature brings new identity to the users with much faster text-entry and quicker navigation. Nokia claimed that busy business geeks and social networking adicts can operate Nokia E6 single-handed.

Nokia E6 has a bright 2.46-inch LCD capacitive touch display with a resolution of 640 by 480 pixels. This new Nokia smartphone boasts a 8-megapixel camera at rear with a dual-LED flash. The rear camera is equipped to capture HD 720p videos at at 25fps.

The device comes with 8GB of internal memory and support for MicroSD cards up to 32GB. The connectivity features include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and micro USB, support for USB On-The-Go and AV-out for connecting to a television or headphones.

Nokia claimed that E6 will offer up to 7.5 hours talktime and a month on standby. Nokia has not yet announced the official release date and price of Nokia E6 in Indian market. It is expected that Nokia E6 will be priced around Rs 23,000. Stay tuned for more updates.
