Spice MI-270: India's first Android dual SIM mobile

Adding more spice to Android mania in India, the new Spice MI-270, which runs on Android 2.1 Eclair operating system, will be launched in the country by the middle of May. Spice MI 270 is expected to control the affordable mobile sector with its low cost and advanced features.
The size of the display screen makes this mobile attractive to those who look for a bigger smartphone. Spice MI-270 has a large 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display to ensure maximum entertainment. It is the largest touchscreen display mobile from Spice Mobiles. This mobile phone is powered with MediaTek 600 Mhz processor, which is capable enough to run Android 2.2 Froyo update.
Another remarkable feature of MI 270 is its dual GSM SIM support. It would be India's first Android based dual SIM phone. MI 270 will provide dual cameras, one at rear and another at front for video calling on 3G network.
"In this week we will launch MI 270, India's first Android based dual SIM phone. It will have a number of pre-loaded free applications to address the digital lifestyle of youth, and it will be priced at around Rs 9,000," said Dilip Modi, managing director, Spice Mobility.
The expected price of Spice MI-270 is below Rs 9,000 and will compete with the upcoming Micromax Android mobile A70. Stay tuned for hands-on review.
