Acer intros Android mobile Liquid Mini in India

Mumbai, Apr 26: Here is an exciting news for smartphone lovers who look for an affordable mobile with all essential features of a high-end smartphone. The new big player in Indian handset market, Acer, announced the launch of a new Android smartphone called Acer Liquid Mini.

Following the impressive performance of the earlier launched Liquid Metal smartphone, Acer sets to grab more shares in highly competitive Indian market with the Android running Liquid Mini. This new smartphone has a 3.2 inch HVGA touchscreen display with 480 x 320 pixels resolution and runs on Android 2.2 Froyo Operating System.

The Acer Liquid Mini is powered by 600 MHz ARM 11 processor and Adreno 200 GPU. Liquid Mini offers a 5 megapixel camera at rear that is capable of recording 480p video. This 3G enabled handset also offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, stereo FM radio and DLNA connectivity.

Liquid Mini has an internal memory of 512 MB that can be expanded upto 32 GB using micro SD cards. Acer bundles a 2 GB memory card along with the set. Acer's new smartphone will be available in 3 different colors, Jet Silver, Royal Blue and Piano Black.

Acer claimed that the Liquid Mini smartphone offers 8 hours of talktime on 2G network and 6.5 hours on 3G network. The company also ensures standby time of 400 hours. The Liquid Mini smartphone will be priced around Rs 11,000.
