Acer Liquid Metal smartphone launched: Price, Specs & Review

New Delhi, Mar 18: Aiming to extend its presence in Indian smartphone market, one of the leading computer manufacturer, Acer officially announced the launch of its latest smartphone Liquid Metal at Rs 20,500.

The all new Android 2.2 Froyo based Acer Liquid Metal has 800MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Core processor, which makes it one of the powerful smartphone available in Indian market. This smartphone offers a 3.6-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen with 480x800 pixel resolution.

Acer Liquid Metal boasts a 5 megapixel camera at rear with auto focus and LED flash and it is capable of recording HD 720p videos. Acer's new smartphone is equipped with Acer Breeze 4.0 UI and 512 MB ROM with 32 GB micro SD memory expansion support.

This new phone also powered with Adreno 205 GPU, Qualcomm MSM 7230 chipset and is made of solid stainless steel body, which makes it a real tough guy. Other features include Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Facebook and Twitter integration.

Acer claimed that Liquid Metal smartphone's 1500 mAh battery coupled with intelligent power management will provide talk-time up to 8 hours and 550 hours standby time. The price of Acer Liquid Metal in India is Rs 20,500 and will be available in all leading shops across the country.
