Muslim League to disclose names of candidates in two days

Malappuram (Kerala), Mar 11: Indian Union Muslim League will disclose within some days, names of candidates who will contest in the Apr 13 state assembly elections, a top party leader said here today.

Speaking to reporters here, former minister and IUML State General Secretary PK Kunhalikutty said seat sharing talks with other UDF partners was going on. "The number of seats and details of constituencies will be announced in two days after talks with other partners are over," he said.

Congress, heading the United Democratic Front,had reached an agreement with IUML on seat sharing after two rounds of parleys on Mar 9. The League has staked its claim for 23 seats.
