, the online retailer website Flipkart has listed the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc in its website with an attractive price tag of Rs 28,999.

Sony Ericsson aims to grab market share in Indian handset market, which is controlled by the world's largest mobile phone maker Nokia. Sony Ericsson plans to roll out its new smartphones in India, where the presence of high-end smartphones is less. The new Xperia Arc would be the real smartphone you are looking for.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc has a 4.2-inch Reality Display capacitive touchscreen with a new display technology called Mobile Bravia Engine. The imaging features available with a 8 megapixel camera that supports 720p HD video recording at 30fps. Xperia Arc runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS powered with 1GHz Snapdragon processor.

This new smartphone has a unique design with slightly arched back panel. Other features on the phone includes HDMI port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 512 MB internal memory.
