At least 6 dead after minivan rolls over in Indonesia's Central Java
JAKARTA, INDONESIA: At least six people died in Indonesia's Java island when the vehicle they were riding was hit by a truck, local authorities said Thursday.
The accident occurred in Temanggung's Bajen village, which is located in Central Java province. According to traffic police Adjutant Commander Setya Budi Waspada, the L-300 minivan lost control and rolled over after a truck hit the vehicle from behind, Tribun Jogja reported.
The truck driver reportedly lost control of his vehicle before the crash.
Local police have been able to identify four of the six fatal victims, and all of them have been identified as residents of Semarang, Central Java.
