"Light India International 2011" to begin from March 4
Chennai, Feb 24 (PTI): With the Indian lighting industrywitnessing huge growth, the four-day International fair onlights and lighting equipment "Light India International 2011"will begin here on March 4, according to the Indian Society ofLighting Engineers, the organisers.
Backed by Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, Tamil Nadu EnergyDevelopment Agency and the Ministry of Micro, Small and MediumIndustries, the event would focus on lights and green lightingbesides conferences, ISLE said in a statement.
About 250 manufacturers from 80 countries would take partin the event, to beconducted in the city for the first time.
The earlier editions were conducted in New Delhi, Mumbai,Bangalore and in Indore.
A technical seminar promoting "Green Lighting" has alsobeen planned. The Light India Internation would publicisedevelopments in the industry and also provide excellentmarketing opportunities for all products and services. PTIVIJ APR
