Davis' trial to be held at Lahore's Kot Lakhpat prison
Lahore Feb 22 (ANI): A Lahore court has ruled that trial of Raymond Davis, who was arrested on January 27 after shooting dead two Pakistani motorcyclists, will be held inside the jail premises.
The Punjab government on Tuesday filed a request to hold Davis' trial in jail premises because of security concerns and keeping in view the sensitive nature of this double murder case.
Subsequently, Additional District and Sessions Judge Yousaf Ojla accepted the provincial government's request, Dawn reports.
Moreover, the court directed that the upcoming hearing of February 25 will be held in the Kot Lakhpat prison.
Currently, Davis is being held on judicial remand in the Kot Lakhpat prison in the murder of two Pakistani nationals. (ANI)
