Shocking pic of duct-taped baby leads to US mum's arrest

New York, Feb 18 (ANI): A woman in Pennsylvania was arrested on Wednesday after she showed cops a picture of herself posing next to her two-year-old daughter, who is gagged and bound with duct tape.

Caira Ferguson, 21, who revealed the photo as part of a claim that her identity had been stolen, is being charged with child endangerment, according to Chester Township Police.

The horrific photo was originally posted on mediatakeout.com. It shows the diapered tot tied to a blue, plastic chair with duct tape around her legs, arms, chest and mouth, reports the New York Daily News.

Cops searched Ferguson's home and discovered the plastic chair with remains of duct tape still attached to it.

She's also being charged with false imprisonment and unlawful restraint.

Ferguson admitted during questioning that she bound her daughter seven months ago.

She is being held without bail, and her daughter is in the custody of child welfare workers. (ANI)
