At least 13 killed in Iraqi car bomb
BAGHDAD, IRAQ: At least 13 people were killed and more than 30 others injured after a car bomb exploded in the northern region of Iraq, local media reported Thursday.
The blast occurred at around 6 p.m. local time at a vehicle sale center in Muqdadiyah, which is located in the province of Diyala, around 80 kilometers (50 miles) northeast of Baghdad.
Several vehicles caught fire during the explosion, as several people were in and around the car center. Local authorities said the blast came from a vehicle parked outside the center.
Furthermore, authorities have reportedly closed out Muqdadiyah as another possible bombing is feared.
