Hooda for increasing diet expenditure of IRB employees
Chandigarh, Feb 15 (PTI) State Finance Minister AjaySingh Yadav today said that Chief Minister Bhupinder SinghHooda has given approval to increase the diet expenditure ofIRB personnel from Rs 600 to Rs 840 per person per day, at parwith that of Haryana Armed Police.
With this decision about 2,670 India Reserve Battalion(IRB) employees and officers, from the ranks of constable toDeputy Superintendent of Police, would be benefitted alongwith 207 IRB Class IV employees, Yadav said in a pressstatement issued here.
He added that over Rs 97.76 lakh would be spent annuallyon increasing the diet expenditure of IRB personnel.
The Haryana government already provides a number offacilities to the state''s police personnel so that they couldperform their duty with utmost dedication and sincerity, hesaid.
