EDST signs MoU with Mar Baselios College of Engineering

Bangalore, Feb 15 (PTI) EDS Technologies, one of theleading PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) solutions companiesin the country, today entered into a strategic relationshipwith Mar Baselios College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram,to set up a finishing school for students belonging to fourstreams of engineering.

The ititiative, which will be set up for students inpre-final and final years of Mechanical, Production,Automobile and Aerospace engineering, would focus on�developing long-term relationship with educationalinstitutions through in-depth engagements around student andfaculty programmes and equip them with the latest intechnology,� EDST President S Senthil said.

The finishing school would focus on providingindustry-specific technical training in PLM tools in order toscale up the employability levels of graduates, he said.

�The association will strengthen the availability ofprofessionals with the right knowledge and skills and bridgethe gap between industry requirements and academicexcellence,� Senthil said.

On completion of the course, the students would beawarded certification from EDS Technologies Pvt Ltd and MarBaselios College, he said.

The would also conduct specialised training programmesfor students from other institutes and working professionalsseeking knowledge and enhancement of their skills, Senthiladded.
