Two get lifer in Bihar for kidnapping school boy
Munger, Feb 14 (PTI) A Bihar court today sentenced twopersons to life imprisonment in connection with kidnapping ofa school boy in Munger district in 2003.
Additional District and Session Judge P.K.Mallick foundFaiyaz and Bhushan Mahto guilty of kidnapping Ankesh, son ofan agriculture scientist Abhay Manker, and awarded life turnto them.
The court also slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 on each ofthem. Ankesh was kidnapped by them when he was going to hisschool here on September 18, 2003.
After holding him captive for seventeen days, thekidnappers had released him following heavy police pressure.
