Kerala MP claims witness to SC judge being bribed

According to TV reports, K Sudhakaran, Congress MP from Kannur, Kerala has alleged that he had witnessed a Supreme Court of India Judge being paid Rs 21 lakh as bribe during the 1990s. The MP claims that the bribe was to secure a favourable judgement against a Kerala High Court order.
Sudhakaran said, "When the High Court pulled back the 21 Bar licences that were issued by K Krunakaran, a bribe was being paid to a Supreme Court judge to get back those licences and I was a witness to that."
The CPI(M) has asked Sudhakaran to reveal the name of the judge. VS Achuthanandan, the chief minister of Kerala has termed the allegations serious and hopes that the apex court takes notice of it.
Do we have another deplorable instance of corruption or is it simply a false rant to divert attention from issues that are indeed vital to the nation? The truth remains to be seen.
