Man commits suicide in police station, three cops suspended

Jaipur, Feb 13 (PTI) A man allegedly committed suicide inthe Kuchaman city police station in Nagaur district followingwhich three policemen, including the SHO, were todaysuspended.

Rajendra, suspected to be involved in a theft case, wastaken to the police station for interrogation from Jaipur. Heallegedly committed suicide inside a room in the policestation by hanging himself from a ceiling fan.

Taking a strong note of the incident, the Rajasthangovernment placed SHO Hanuman Ram Vishnoi and two otherpolicemen under suspension on the charge of dereliction ofduty, the police sources said.

The government has also ordered an enquiry into thematter.
