Kashmiri youth exhibit JK unity through show
Jammu, Feb 13 (PTI) Thousands of youths from both Jammuand Kashmir came under a single platform showcasing unity ofthe state, as they participated in a programme organised bythe JK scouts here.
"It is for the first time that such a big event is heldto exhibit unity, communal harmony and brotherhood of thestate, to the people of the country and world," ChiefCommissioner of JK Scouts and Guides Khawaja Farooq Renzu Shahsaid.
At the show, ''Campuri 2011'', last evening, 42 contingentsof the state scouts presented a march past, which was followedby colourful programmes.
Education Minister Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed, ForestMinister Mian Altaf Ahmad, Minister for Revenue RamanBhalla, Advisor to Chief minister Mubarak Gul, Minister ofState for Tourism Nasir Aslam Wani and DGP Kuldeep Khodaattended the inaugural mega function of campuri-2011, whichconcluded last evening.
After the function, Mian Altaf announced to organizesimilar events at Kangan, Sonamarg and other forest resorts tochannelise "energy of the youth in a right direction".
