Money spent on venue of Chouhan''s fast be recovered:Digvijay

Bhopal, Feb 13 (PTI) Congress General Secretary, DigvijaySingh, today expressed happiness at Madhya Pradesh ChiefMinister Shivraj Singh Chouhan calling off his fast butdemanded that the money spent on making arrangements for it berecovered from his salary.

"I am glad that the Chief Minister listened to the goodadvice given to him by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and StateGovernor, Rameshwar Thakur," he told PTI.

Singh said that if Chouhan continued to listen to theadvice of the Prime Minister and the Governor, it would bevery good for the welfare of Madhya Pradesh.

He said that a lot of money had been spent at the venueof the fast for constructing an air-conditioned room and otherfacilities which must be recovered from Chouhan''s salary.

Chouhan ended his fast minutes after beginning it todayfollowing an assurance given by the Prime Minister to lookinto the demands raised by him.
