70-year-old woman arrested for 'stalking' 92-year-old priest in US

Washington, Feb 13 (ANI): A 70-year-old woman has been arrested after being accused of stalking a priest in Coral Springs, Florida, United states.

Dorothy Joan Scalise is being held in the Broward County Jail, reports Justnews.com.

In her arrest report, the Broward Sheriff's Office said, Scalise, a parishioner of the priest's church, made several harassing telephone calls to his home number.

Police said the 92-year-old priest reported that Scalise left a message threatening violence toward him on his answering machine.

The priest claimed Scalise called him every morning and that he sometimes found her sitting on the staircase next to his apartment.

Scalise is being fitted with a monitoring bracelet on her ankle and has been ordered to stay away from the priest and his church. (ANI)
