Indians, Bangladeshis arrested in Sharjah for attempted selling of pornographic videos
Sharjah, Feb 12 (ANI): Four Asians, including two Indian nationals, have been arrested in Sharjah for intending to distribute a total of 12,460 pornographic DVDs to residents and workers in various parts in the city.
The Gulf News quoted the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) official in Sharjah Police as saying that the arrests were done after receiving an information that illegal activities were carried out in the industrial areas of the city.
"We arrested two Indian nationals and two Bangladeshi nationals who owned 12,460 pornographic movies, and who intended to sell them to residents and workers," the official said.
Police discovered that they used lived in the Al Khalidiya area. After monitoring their activities, police arrested them and seized the illegal DVDs that they possessed.
The case will be reportedly referred to Sharjah Public Prosecution. (ANI)
