'Cong will lose UP battleground at Maya's hand'

Lucknow, Feb 8: Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has been campaigning to empower the party in Uttar Pradesh. But a recent survey has shocked the party leaders. The survey showed that Mayawati will be able to hold her strong power in the state without leaving an inch to Congress.

Mayawati's reign in Uttar Pradesh will remain unhampered as Congress is expected to hopelessly lose Uttar Pradesh to Mayawati, the survey stated.

Despite Rahul Gandhi's frequent visits to Dalit homes and Muslims in the state, they are not yet ready to turn their backs on Chief Minister Mayawati, the survey suggested.

Sources said, the survey claimed that if a poll will be held today, then Congress will face a demoralising defeat in the state like Bihar.

Radical preferences have been observed in Uttar Pradesh which is one of the most crucial states for Congress led UPA government.
