Rahul interacts with Sibal over UP student polls

New Delhi, Oct 30: Concerned over students' welfare, Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi met Human Resource development Minister Kapil Sibal at his residence here on Saturday, Oct 30 to discuss the issue of student elections not being held in three central universities of Uttar Pradesh for years.

Sources said Gandhi was accompanied by students from the Benaras Hindu University, Allahabad University and Aligarh Muslim University.

Reports said Gandhi has discussed the issue with Sibal and sought his intervention in the matter.
