Jobless man commits suicide

New Delhi, Feb 3 (PTI) A 23-year-old man allegedlycommitted suicide in east Delhi this afternoon, apparentlydepressed over his wife leaving him after he becameunemployed.

Police said the incident was reported from Ashok Nagarand the victim has been identified as Hemant.

He was found hanging in his rented accommodation by hislandlord.

No suicide was recovered, police said adding thatinvestigators were told by neighbours and his family thatHemant had lost his job in a private company three months agoand was probably depressed over it.

"His wife had also left him recently as he wasunemployed. He worked in a private firm in Noida but lost hisjob three months ago. He married a girl against his family''swishes eight months ago," police said.
