Raja unearths more scams in DMK; channel probed

A transaction, which is worth of Rs 214 crore, was transferred from Mumbai-based DB Realty group to Kalaignar TV, has been investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) recently.
Kalaignar TV is owned by family members of DMK supremo Karunanidhi.
The investigating agency began the probe when they found that the telecom arm of DB Realty is among firms which got 2G licenses in 2008 when Raja was the telecom minister.
The DB group's telecom arm sold 45 percent to Etisalat in 2009. The company, earlier known as Swan Telecom, is now called Etisalat-DB.
After Raja's arrest regarding the scam, the latest revelation about Karunanidhi's link with 2G license allocation may increase the jittery for DMK.
