Wikileaks warns Britain of suicide attacks

London, Feb 4: Wikileaks has revealed that Britain is facing an internal security threat from indigenous suicide bombers.

Secret US cables leaked by Wikileaks has quoted British spy agency MI6's warning of a 'unique' threat from a generation of home-grown terrorists, reported the Telegraph, a leading British daily.

The leaked documents suggest that both foreign and domestic extremists pose a grave concern to Britain's security. It also emphasises on USA's growing concern about the struggles of British intelligence agencies' in tackling Islamic extremists due to financial constraints.

A counter-terrorism official was quoted as saying that extremists who undergo terrorist training and become "suicide operatives" will leave the authorities struggling to prevent an attack.
