Benazir's mobile phones recovered from Bilawal House, Karachi
Karachi, Feb 4(ANI): The two Blackberry cell phones of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, which were lost on the day of her assassination, have been recovered from her former residence 'Bilawal House' in Karachi.
According to sources, Benazir's personal staff in Bilawal House were carrying her cell phones, Geo TV reported.
The Benazir murder case investigation team has declared it an important breakthrough in the ongoing probe, and a challan in this regard will be submitted after three days.
Bilawal House spokesman Ejaz Durrani told the Daily Times that a servant at the residence- Razzak Mirani- found Benazir's mobile phones and handed them over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
President Asif Ali Zardari and the whole nation want to see the murderers of Benazir being brought to justice, Durrani added.
Benazir was targeted in a gun and bomb attack as she was leaving Liaqat Bagh after addressing a public rally on December 27, 2007. (ANI)
