Buddhadeb releases books on Tagore and Acharya P C Roy

Kolkata, Jan 30 (PTI) West Bengal Chief Minister BuddhadebBhattacharjee today released two compilations of the selectedworks of Rabindra Nath Tagore and eminent scientist AcharyaPrafulla Chandra Roy on the occasion of their 150 years ofbirth.

The books, published by the CPI-M State Committee here,would be available at stalls of National Book Agency,Ganashakti and Nandan at the ongoing Kolkata Book Fair.

Releasing the books ''He Mahajiban (Oh Noble Life)'' and ''Ananthology of writings by Acharya Prafulla Chandra Roy, thechief minister said that the first one is a compilation ofTagore''s selected poems, essays and other works, while theother one is a collection of contemporary thoughts of Roy andhis treatise on science and research.

Both the publications are available in the Kolkata BookFair.
