BJP leaders arrested on the way to Jammu again
UPDATE:
Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and Anath Kumar have been arrested by the police authorities. They refuse to budge from the spot they were arrested from. They have been arrested for violating Sec 144, inspite of government orders to not carry out the rally.
Sushma Swaraj has been updating the status of the flag rally quite prolifically and said, “About to reach the other side"; "Crossed the bridge"; "Its a no signal area".
The BJP activists are seen to be shouting slogans and are moving slowly but steadily to the other side of the bridge. They have a huge contingent of police personnel stationed on the other side to block the activists at any cost. The BJP leaders are leaving no stone unturned to fuel the spirit the thousands of BJP activists with their speeches and call for freedom.
Jammu is blanketed by security and has been converted into a virtual fortress ahead of the BJP rally reaching the Jammu border. Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and Ananth Kumar was earlier detained and sent to Madhopur. "We are not a banana republic... the way we were detained. They cannot physically throw us like that. I informed the Home Minister regarding this to which he said that he would look into it," Jaitley has been quoted as saying.
Jaitley also said, "What the government did by diverting trains and expelling the leaders amounts to hijack."
