AIPL Ambuja to invest Rs 2,000 cr in Punjab

Chandigarh, Jan 19 (PTI) Real estate developer AIPLAmbuja Housing and Urban Infrastructure Limited today saidthat it would invest Rs 2,000 crore for setting up housing andmall projects at various places in Punjab.

"We intend to invest Rs 2,000 crore on variousupcoming projects in Punjab," AIPL Ambuja, Director, HarinderSingh told reporters here today.

The company would be setting up two malls in Jalandharand Khanna and housing projects in Mohali, Gobindgarh-Khannaand Amritsar.

He said that the company would be raising moneythrough mix of internal accruals, debt and advances fromcustomers.

Giving details about its upcoming housing project atGobindgarh-Khanna, Himanshu Pant, National Head of Sales andMarketing, AIPL Ambuja said, "DreamCity, Gobindgarh-Khanna a88 acres of self sufficient township is a modern suburbiacontaining everything from immaculately designed luxuryvillas, independent floors and a bazaar."
