16 killed, many injured in Pakistan's recent blast

Peshwar, Jan 17: Following a collision between a pick-up truck and a passenger vehicle, a blast caused by the explosion of gas cylinders, killed at least 16 people and wounding 11 others in Pakistan.

Bomb disposal team was called at the accident place in Pakistan's northwestern region but later sources confirmed that cylinder gas explosion caused the blast on Monday, Jan 17.

The blast happened near Hangu city, a place where both civilians and security forces have been attacked several times by the Islamist militants.

Police officials confirmed that the collision between the two vehicles caused the gas explosion and also informed that most vehicles in the country are run on gas, which is half the price of petrol.
